Barbara de Wilde & Carol Devine Carson: THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Inside each Everyman's Library Classic, Contemporary Classic, Pocket Poet, Pocket Classic, and Children's Classic are a few pages with the title of the book, the copyright information, etc - known as the front-matter. And in practically every book, Ms. de Wilde and Ms. Carson's names appear front and center!
BARBARA DE WILDE (as of 2019) is the Executive Creative Director at the New York Times. Her website is as follows: https://barbaradewilde.com/ In addition to numerous other projects and clients, de Wilde's website proudly lists her affiliation with Everyman's Library of course!
CAROL DEVINE CARSON (as of at least 2015) is the Vice President and Art Director at Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group - which the Everyman's Library imprint is a part of.
To say that I tip my hat off to these two design professionals is the understatement of the day - without their brilliant book and dust jacket designs, I may never have ever noticed and discovered these amazing books.
From the bottom of my heart, a sincere and heartfelt thank you Barbara and Carol. Although I have never met either of you, your beautiful books have enriched my life - and home! - and I am beyond grateful.
